X-ray Analysis (XRF / XRD)
X-ray fluorescence (XRF) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) provide elemental and phase analysis of a wide range of solid samples. Depending on the application, instruments are available in handheld, benchtop and floor-standing configurations for industries such as steel, mining, oil and gas, and cement.
Atomic Absorption Spectrometers (AAS)
Atomic absorption spectrometers use flame or graphite furnace atomization to determine elements in prepared liquid samples, with sensitivity at ppm or ppb levels depending on the element and method. Applications include metals and mining, food, pharmaceuticals and research.
Spark Optical Emission Spectrometers (Spark-OES)
Spark optical emission spectrometers determine the elemental composition of metallic samples by analyzing the light emitted during spark excitation. Portable, benchtop and floor-standing systems support analysis from trace concentrations to percentage levels.
Inductively Coupled Plasma Spectrometers (ICP)
Inductively coupled plasma spectrometry uses an argon plasma for multi-element analysis across a broad range of sample matrices. Its versatility makes it a widely used technique in industrial and research laboratories.
Carbon & Sulfur Analyzers (CS)
Combustion analyzers determine carbon and sulfur in solid inorganic and organic samples. Samples are combusted in an oxygen atmosphere, and the released gases are measured to determine carbon and sulfur concentrations. Applications include steel, mining, petroleum and polymers.
Oxygen, Nitrogen & Hydrogen Analyzers (ONH)
ONH analyzers use inert gas fusion with an electric furnace and graphite crucibles to determine oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen in metallic samples. Their low detection limits and high repeatability support applications in the copper, steel and aluminum industries.
Gas Chromatography (GC)
Gas chromatography separates sample components and measures them using a range of detectors. It is widely used in quality control laboratories serving the oil and gas, food, pharmaceutical and environmental sectors, as well as industrial gas analysis.
High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
HPLC separates, identifies and quantifies components in liquid mixtures, including compounds present at low concentrations. Major applications include food testing, pharmaceutical analysis, and water and wastewater testing.

Laboratory Pulverizers
Laboratory pulverizers grind solid mineral samples for XRF sample preparation in cement, mining and steel laboratories. Grinding bowls and components are available in materials such as tungsten carbide and chrome steel to suit sample hardness and analytical requirements.
Hydraulic Presses
Hydraulic presses prepare powdered samples as pressed pellets for XRF analysis in industries such as cement, mining and steel. The appropriate press configuration depends on the sample material, particle size and required pellet characteristics.

Fusion Systems
Fusion systems prepare homogeneous glass beads for XRF analysis and fused samples for subsequent preparation for ICP analysis. Systems are available with induction, resistance or gas heating to suit laboratory workflows and sample throughput.
